Care Guide

Step by Step Care Guide

Properly caring for the suede & leather is key in extending the life of your footwear. The frequency of the care routine depends on your lifestyle and what conditions you are wearing your footwear in.

For best results, we highly recommend using our Care Kit. It contains everything you need for a quick and easy clean up.

Step One: Cleaning
Remove all dust and dirt trapped on your suede and leather.
Gently clean with damp or dry brush. Repeat as necessary. Leave to air dry.

Step Two: Refreshing the suede

If there are any scuff marks on your suede footwear, you can remove them with a gum eraser.
Gently rub the scuff with the eraser and wipe away the debris.

Step Three: Polishing the leather
Use a cloth to wipe off excess dirt and buff leather to a perfect shine.

Step Four: Storing your footwear
Always clean your La Canadienne before putting it away for the season.
Store your shoes and boots in a dry and cool environment, away from direct heat or sunlight.

Additional Tips For City Dry™ Footwear

Thanks to our waterproofing treatment process, there is no need to treat the suede or leather before wearing them.

In snowy conditions, clean your boots right after wearing them to keep salt stains from penetrating the material.
