Quality has downgraded a lot since the last pair I purchased. Very thin leather it is crumbling at the toes.

I have wanted to splurge on a pair of La Canadienne boots for over 10 years. I finally purchased these boots and while challenging to put on and take off, felt that the style and height made up for it. However, after wearing them less than 10 times, mainly indoors and only on clear pavement outside, the leather is already scuffed and not able to be remedied.

I was impressed by the speed of delivery. I love my boots. They are comfortable. It would be great if La Canadienne made a winter version, with warm lining.

Wonderful Boot

This is my second pair of La Canadienne boots but in a different style. The previous style I purchased is no longer made but I wore those boots for 8 yrs. La Canadienne is a bit pricey but well worth the craftsmanship.

Love these boots so much. First wore them on a winter trip to Europe and we walked around 15k steps a day. They needed no breaking in at all and while they were a little snug to put on with thicker wool socks (bought true to size), they've molded to my feet more and are a bit easier to take on and off. They are fantastic and super elegant, platonic ideal of a cold weather Chelsea boot.

These boots are stylish and practical. I am a size 9 but sometimes take an 8.5, I took a 9 in these and they are perfect. The grip of the lug sole is excellent and I know these will last me years. I love the look of them and can’t wait to get a few more pairs of boots from you guys down the road. Obsessed.

Shocked by how comfortable these are. They are extremely lightweight but still very sturdy. Love the way they look. I've been eyeing them for awhile and held off since they are a bit of an investment but I'm so glad I went ahead with the purchase.

Initially I was hesitant about the long shaft as I have more of an athletic calf, but it looks great. Very flattering, in fact. In regards to sizing, it runs wide but, as one other reviewer noted, nothing a thick pair of socks couldn't fix and which is desirable in winter. I have an average to slightly narrow foot. Length I found true to size. I am a solid 9.5 and that is what I ordered. Very comfortable straight out of the box.
