My ankles are crying, recommend forgoing if you have narrow ankles

My ankles are crying... highly recommend passing on these boots if you have narrow ankles. Tried multiple insoles from Birkenstock blue cork 1/2 insoles, to gel insoles, to suede heelguards, to wool socks, camp socks, double socks, etc. nothing helps, heels are bleeding upon arrival home every time. The suede boot variation was a better fit, however La Canadienne's restrictive exchange policy would have resulted in a $130 price increase exchanging the leather for suede. General fit is a bit wonky with an incredibly narrow toebed and wide heel base. Overall the quality is good. Will pass on repurchasing from La Canadienne in favour of brands offering greater customization for a healthier foot fit.

Good in snow and on unshoveled sidewalks. Not toasty but warm enough for city walking even in subzero temperatures. Easy to get on and off
