I order other premium brands too. I don't know what level of service they use for courier. They all arrive very quickly and some even require signatures. By tracking the shipment, it seems that La Canadienne uses land transportation instead of air transportation from eastern Canada to west coast. Is land cheaper than air?

Love your products. I don't fault the company --your business model does not have 24 hour customer service ---otherwise my frustration might have been prevented. But maybe its too expensive to have staff working all those hours.. I understand. This has been a frustrating experience.--and I am returning the boots hoping a larger size will work! Thank you!

Beautiful pots and comfortable.

I have been wearing La Canadienne boots for 20+ and only had to replace a pair that lasted many years with the help of re-heeling. It's unfortunate that this company has now adopted the same practice as other shoe makers and fuse stiff plastic shields into the back of boot (above the heel) and in the toe box. This prevents the wearer's ability to break in the shoe/boot and creates a very restrictive feel around the toes. I have not decided if I will return them as the same issue with the "stiffness" will likely occur with other equivalent brands (happened once before with another brand purchased last winter). The colour shown on the website is not true to life - it is more of a very dark chocolate brown with a slight hint of burgundy rather than "wine". I purchased a size 7.5 (normally wear size 7) so I can layer socks over my tights during colder weather and the boots were snug, including at the top even though I have narrow calves . On a positive note delivery was extremely quick. My order arrived within 3 days.

These boots are sturdy enough to hold their shape, but comfortable right out of the box with no need to break them in at all.

I purchased the black colour. Fit well, look very stylish for work. Cosy and waterproof. I wear size 8 but purchased size 7.5. Fit well.

Beautiful color very comfortable, the heel easy to wear. Very nice material not to expect less being italian suede leather. I loved them!!

I like the way they look, but I have found them to be quite scuffed after minimal wear indoors. I was also expecting them to be more comfortable based on reviews. They are fine, but for me they are not a boot I would want to walk any distance in.

These boots are so amazing. I've owned my pair for 5 years, and I have zero complaints. They were incredibly comfortable from the first wear (no break-in period for me), and they've withstood several rainfalls and some light snow, I can wear them with anything from leggings to dresses, and they look great. I'm not precious with my shoes, and they still look relatively the same as when I bought them. One of my favourite footwear purchases ever. I'm a 7.5-8 and I went with the 8. I find they run TTS, but if you're between sizes, size up unless you have narrow feet.

The boot is versatile you can wear it to work and for a evening out. The boot has a small heel making it comfortable to wear all day.

If you're looking for a dress bootie that you can wear for dressy occasions and/or work and stand for extended periods of time then you're looking at the right bootie. The suede material is waterproof so if you need to walk about your feet will be dry and warm.

These boots are the perfect heal height and super comfortable - I have a wide foot due to a collapsed arch and was able to wear them 1st day for 8 hours straight - they are very classic and go with everything whether wearing jeans/ dressy pants or dresses / skirts - a must have basic bootie in your wardrobe
