Nice looking leather and sherpa lining. Heavier than expected. I struggled with the sizing. This is my first La Canadienne experience and found the available sizing info a little confusing. My foot is 24 cm which corresponds with size 7.5 on the sizing chart, my usual street shoe size, so that's what I ordered even though the notes recommend sizing down a half size. The shoes fit perfectly while bare foot!which is obviously not how I would wear them. I could barely get my foot in the shoe with socks of any kind. With thin running socks, once my feet were in, the shoes felt like they might explode in every direction and there was no chance I could walk meaningful distances in them. I would likely need to go up at least one whole size but I am not planning to try again"”I don't trust that another size would fit right and am not willing to gamble on how these might/not break in at this price. Also the return process is a tad annoying with the restock fee and printer requirement.
