Beautiful But…

Sizing with La Canadienne shoes seem to have become increasingly inconsistent. I bought another suede loafer a few months back in the same size but this pair fits a tad short on the side tip of big toe. Unfortunately bought online at end of season sale so no option to try nor return.

Smaller sizing vs. some other styles

I am usually a 38, but at LC, i have found 37.5 also fits, and oftentimes better. For the sake of this shoe, i decided to go 38 b/c i wanted to comfortably wear socks if desired and was looking for a more easy slip on/off shoe. This one is more true to size! So unfortunately, the 38 is great, but a little too perfect.

otherwise, the shoe looks great and is comfortable though stiffer than i expected given it's suede! does need the heel to break in.
