Beautiful ... but

These are gorgeous boots and especially the lining. Very sad that I was not able to get the 8 1/2. I bought the 8 as comments were that sizing was larger but the 8 was snug for me. They arrived quickly and return was easy. Disappointed not to get my size.

Luxurious and high-quality boots

These boots are exactly what I want in cold weather boots - stylish, waterproof, warm, high-quality, and comfortable to wear all day. This is my third pair of La Canadienne shearling boots. I bought size 7. They run a bit long in length but feel fine in the width.

After a really awful experience with similar lacanadienne boots I purchased during the pandemic which were measurably different in the toe box and not finding what I want from other brands, I gave lacanadienne another chance. I am happy with the autumn boot, warm, cozy and waterproof. I still have a bit of a bad taste after receiving a huge runaround and having to pay shipping to return clearly defective items which were then shipped right back to me, again with a cost. But, now I know a better strategy would have been simply to return and reorder another pair. Lacanadienne, if you're listening, you owe me $26 in shipping and a fair amount for the runaround a grief on the first pair. I'm am glad, however, that you seemed to be able to turn around whatever problem you were having in manufacturing because I really do enjoy your product. Thanks.
