The other reviews did not lie; these boots are tinyyyyy so size up. I have always worn a size 7 in all my boots and these La Canadienne Harry boots in a size 7 feel like a size 6 (super narrow). I will try a size 8 instead. Also the calf is not super tight, so I’ll have to see if it still looks nice in a bigger size. I love the shape of the front of the boots. They feel like they are good quality.

Gorgeous boots! Fits true to size! However be aware they are very narrow for those with wider foot and require some stretching! Quality is outstanding.

Elegant et confortable!

I love these boots,the style is exactly what I was expecting and the size is perfect. I usually wear a 9 but in La Canadienne I wear a 8.5, I have a narrow foot and these are a perfect fit. I look forward to warm dry feet with a great looking tall boot.

J’ai porté les bottes seulement deux fois et le Suède sur le devant de la botte a déjà commencé à se déformer . Comme une botte que j’aurais utilisé plusieurs années . La fausse fourrure à l’intérieur est mince à comparer à la paire de bottes que j’ai acheté chez la canadienne il y a plus de 3 ans . Je ne peux plus les retourner car je les ai porté deux fois . À 700$ la paire de bottes , je suis extrêmement déçu de la qualité . Je vais me trouver un autre endroit pour acheter mes bottes d’hiver désormais !

Extrêmement satisfaite. Je viens de découvrir cette marque et ne regrette pas mon achat ! À recommander :) Extrêmement chaude et de très bonne qualité. Les grandeurs sont exactement ce qu'elles doivent être. À notez que pour les mollets forts, elles seraient pourraient risquer d'être trop serré.

Beautiful boots. They are very narrow around the ankles which makes zippering a little difficult, So I imagine this might be an issue igf you have a high instep or thick-ish ankles. (I have a high instep and tiny ankles)

Cozy winter boots

Très belle et confortable

These are my 2nd La Canadienne, (1st pair I purchased over a decade ago for a year+ living in Ekaterinburg and Moscow, they won me over then with their warmth and traction incl on walking across the frozen rivers nearly daily)) and with this purchase they're going to be my Go To for winter boots and shoes. the Helene are gorgeous material and construction, and fr the looks of them the soles are just as good traction wise as my 1st pair over a decade ago.

the only negative is that the calf is too spacious at the top, like fr the knee to the top of my calf its got too much space which never happens as I've got 'well developed calves' . I wish they were more fitted all the way to the top for the look and also so no rain or snow drops in.

and, just a tip re sizing:, I;m usually an 8 or 8.5 but because of the shearling lining I thought to 1/2 size up to the 8.5 and that was accurate, the 8.5 fits perfectly with a bombas knee sock

The boot is pricey for me, but I saved for two years to purchase. Worth every penny.

Beautiful boot and ultra comfortable (the first time I wore them I walked the whole day and they were so comfortable. No breaking in needed). The shearling is extremely toasty (combined with the fact that the calf room is narrow so it squeezes my legs), so this definitely is a Winter boot. It might even be too warm for late Autumn.

I will also note that the black dye for the shearling stained my socks. Not a huge deal, but I recommend wearing black/dark socks to avoid the issue.

I usually wear 7.5 or 8, and I needed an 8 for the Helene, probably because of the shearling in the footbed. I did not even bother trying the 7.5 since the 8 was already pretty tight. (For comparison, the 7.5 worked for the Axel.)

The Helene is definitely better for ladies with slimmer calves - I have bigger calves and I struggle to zip these up even in stockings. No way I could wear pants in these boots. I have tried both the Axel and Stevie, and they both have larger room for calves than the Helene.

I didn't buy the Stevie because of the narrowing foot and the lack of grip in the sole, and I didn't buy the Axel because of the different material in the calves (thinner leather(?) so it crinkled unattractively at the ankle). I would have tried the Stratford if they still had some in my size, but unfortunately I was informed there are no plans to re-stock.

Anyway, I am satisfied with my Helene boot. Comfy and pretty and very warm.
