Nice boots, but they are not leather

These are nice boots, and seem true to size. I got my usual 39 and they fit like a glove. (I have narrow feet and high arches.) They aren't leather though, or at least not the whole boot - the sides are made from some sort of synthetic which btw should have been mentioned in the description. I may still keep them, but at this price they should have been 100% leather.

Beautiful Boots, Love the Vibram Ice Grip Sole!

Beautiful boots with an excellent sole for winter walking. The fit of the boot is shoe like and may be too narrow if you have a wider foot and want to wear a winter sock. The shaft of the boot is narrow. If your calf muscle sits closer to the ankle or you have a wider calf you might struggle with these. The laces can be let out to provide more room. This did work for me but something to consider. This boot has a Vibram sole especially made for winter walking and ice. I have a pair from another brand and was specifically looking for this sole. It makes a difference on icy sidewalks.
