ASTRO SANDALE EN CUIR

These sandals are strappy but supportive and comfortable. Perfect for that summer or Caribbean vacation when your carry on only rule allows for a couple pairs of lightweight footwear.

Souples et hyper confortables!

I so wanted to love this!
First, they look great! The style, the color, the height, it is everything I ever wanted in a sandal.
But, the moment I put them on I realized I could never wear them. They feel very uncomfortable, they are tight in the front, loose in the back, the sole feels stiff and the gold spray painting is already fading in places, I do not know how long it is going to last. Such a bummer since it is a stunning color, the back one being ordinary.
I wore this for a couple of minutes on my carpet and I couldn't wait to take them out, so I will return them ASAP.
So disappointing since I already own three other pairs from this company and they are fitted so well.
But they do look nice, for a photo or a sitting down look they are perfect.

I own 3 other La Canadienne shoes and these were the only one that did not work for me. They made blisters everywhere on my foot from just 40 mins walk. I could not walk anymore because the straps hurt the bridge of my feet so much and made blisters everywhere top and bottom…
I think it’s the placement of the straps. Where they cross right on the cuneiform bones, the part that extends out a bit on your feet.
So sad because I can see they are so well made as usual, and I’d been waiting for them to be for sale, because strappy shoes are younger style, and look much cooler than other flats they have.
If you still want to give it a try, I’d recommend trying them on at home, and if you could feel that cross straps on your bridge, go return them. It was fine for me in the beginning until it got unbearable in 40 mins. If you are not as sensitive as me, maybe it’ll be okay.
