Back Strap Issue

The sandal itself is beautiful and comfy. Unfortunately the back strap is too long and goes a bit beyond the back end of the sandal, when it actually is supposed to be shorter (as the purpose of this strap is to hold the foot put to avoid flipflopping when walking). It seems like one needs to order one size down so your heel goes beyond the end of the sandal and the strap then sits properly on the curve of your leg above the heel. I reached La Cannadienne and was advised that it was how they make this sandal. As my daughter's size is 5 and it was the smallest size La Candienne offers AND it was on final sale, we got stuck with the sandal :(
I gave it to the shoe maker for additional $$ to try shorten the back strap. Pity, it could have been a great sandal, if it were only designed properly to begin with.

Perfect! Higher heel and comfort!

The sandals were exactly what I was looking for!

I bought them to wear to a wedding to give me a slight raise in the heel and comfort, and they were extremely comfortable and blended in with my legs so that the dress was the main attraction, but the shoes are gorgeous and will last for years!
