was looking for a "dress" boot that I wouldn't slip on the ice with. read the reviews and glad I sized up. I'm a true 37 and the 37.5 was perfect

This boot is really comfortable to walk in because of the rubber sole and because the leather is soft and supple. They look great for dressing up a pair of blue jeans.

I read to go up a size, I went up .5 but should have gone up a full size. They are beautiful, I’m sure they will work in a bit.

I usually wear a size 10 but I'm glad I got the 10.5 with the pointed toe. Love them so far!

Really nice. You do need to size up half a size. Bought size 40. They are narrow at the toe. Only three stars because there are no half sizes above 39. Why? Not sure if I'll keep. Full size bigger will not work.

I am always an 8.5 in La Canadienne shoes/boots and the 8.5 was way too tight. They charge a $10 restocking fee for returns (even if you return to buy another size), so size up the first time.

These boots are perfectly designed and crafted!!! The higher shaft is so soft and comfortable!it pulls on like a nice, warm sock. The footbed is cushioned, which makes standing and walking longer periods of time like a dream. The pointed toe does not pinch, even with my bunion. The heel height is perfect, not too high and not too low. The boot can look casual, yet somehow professional and sleek. My favourite find yet!!!!!

My favorite boot. Period. Great for day to night, daily use. Extremely comfortable, soft and sexy. Shaft is the perfect hight to wear with high-water style pants or midi skirts. Waterproof outer tested and approved! Ideal for NYC stomping and commuting with super grippy sole. Couldn't recommend more.

Suggest sizing up half a size. A little snug on the toes.

I bought these boots for work as I wanted something for the colder weather that would fit nicely with my dress pants. They have now transitioned from work only to my going out boot. So fabulous with a skinny jean! They are also so comfortable and can be worn all day and night!

This was a great purchase. The boot slips on like butter and the shaft is extremely comfortable (yes I know). No breaking in required. Runs a tad small. I was worried because my feet are large and wide but the sock-like construction and softness of the leather mitigates this. Looks very modern with the pointed toe and the cowboy details. Will get a ton of wear out of these, especially since they're water-resistant. La Canadienne is pricey but worth every penny if you live in four season climate.

Its was too small on the first purchase. Like it was too narrow for me but once I went up a size, it definitely made a difference.

absolutely beautiful and so comfortable. The shaft is buttery soft and the cowboy boot inspired design is spot on. It fits narrower but still fits true to size. My new favorite boots!
