CHAUSSE-PIED

Most regrettably on my very first use of the shoe horn a piece of horn broke off the bottom thereby rendering the tool unusable. I had had high expectations for the shoe horn based on many years of successful use I’d had with a shoe horn I had bought in the UK and had subsequently lost. So, the new tool I had ordered from la Canadienne This turned out to be a very costly purchase. I have been considering trying to returning the product to the Yorkville shop when I am home again at the end of June.

Beautiful and generously sized with solid weight.

This shoe horn is made of horn and is so beautiful. It looks like a small sculpture. It's also helpful to put my boots and on without damaging the heel.

I keep my shoe horn on my hall table, near my boots, so it's nice to have something that actually looks good, like an objet d'art, sitting there. And it works quite well.
